Andy, nicely done! Working with GTD is all very fluid isn't it? I believe that's beauty of the system.

You should have seen what I was writing before I got here. My GTD solution(s) have been iterating for 4-5 years now. Since people's problems are so specific it was hard for me to isolate and discuss something that might not be applicable to everyone. I'm glad you think I did ok though! :)

As to Liquid Minded, while I interleave a hint here or there I'm not about blowing smoke and I don't want to build false pretenses of what may or may not be, so I like to stay and be considered a GTD'r first and foremost. I'll get into marketing the product when it's ready. In the end I think we're building a real gtd solution.

If something else, to this day, could do all we're pushing in LM we wouldn't build it. Jeff and I aren't in the habit of trying to produce things that already exist. We build things to stop us from going crazy. With Liquid Minded I'll still carry cards for when I'm out in public and need to doodle or mindmap, but we've got a lot of ways to collect the data that might be just informative, actionable, to truly delegating with others while on the go. It will replace my Kinkless and general application usage, or enhance the applications that are still in use. For Jeff, he has a longer term vision for himself and LM usage and that is to stop all paper from flying around his house all together, so that makes for some interesting thoughts on where it could head.

I love watching GTD'rs work because we're all struggling with the same bits in different ways. Each of us likes or dislikes a little something the other does because of our perspective and personalized flow and it's great. I don't think I'd have it any other way. We're dynamic fun crazy creatures and that means creativity and unusual solutions are right around the next corner. What fun!

Thanks for starting the meme, I was glad to catalog a little slice of where I am and have been.

Andy, I've enjoyed reading your contribution to my little GTD meme. You are calling it a broad piece, but I think it already provides detailed insights in how you apply GTD to your life... and most interestingly, how it has evolved over the years. The slideshow shows more in a few seconds than you could ever describe in words. I noticed that you didn't mention Liquid Minded at all; would that product eventually replace large parts of your current system? It's fascinating to see how other GTDers are "struggling" with digital and analog solutions, and eventually settling on a hybrid system, like myself.
Thanks for joining my GTD meme!
